WATER TOWER MAINTENANCE UNDERWAY

The city of Freeman begAn maintenance and repairs on the water tower Monday, July 13. The project is expected to span 45 days, during which time water reserves will be relied on. Those receiving water services can expect that water service will continue throughout the duration of the project. However, low water pressure may be experienced at times and there may also be some very brief intervals when there is a lapse in service as reserve water sources are switched.

While no water restrictions are being imposed at this time, it’s requested that residents and businesses conserve water, as much as possible, so the reserves are not depleted before the project is finished. It’s recommended that watering of lawns be limited to early morning or evening hours. Cooperation with these recommendations is appreciated.
