‘FROSTY FEST’ COMING TO FREEMAN DEC. 4

JEREMY WALTNER  –  PUBLISHER

Those who want to get into the spirit of Christmas will have an opportunity to do so in Freeman next Friday, Dec. 4. A “Frosty Fest” is being planned from 5 to 8 p.m. that will include a number of family-friendly activities as well as retail specials from local businesses.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available — socially distanced — in front of Vintage Vault and Floral on the corner of Main and Fourth streets. Children are invited to leave their wish list and return mailing address for the Clauses; in the event of inclement weather, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be located in the greenhouse behind Vintage Vault and Floral.

Free horse-drawn wagon rides through downtown will also be available during the “Frosty Fest” and several activities and extended hours will be available at a number of Freeman businesses. Children can decorate and take home a small Christmas tree at Fensel’s and cookie decorating will be available at Doc’s Mess Hall.

For additional details, see the advertisement in this week’s Courier.
