FLYER INVITE: FHS BOYS, GIRLS FINISH 6TH

Freeman High School finished sixth in both the boys and girls divisions at the 16-team Flyer Invitational hosted by Freeman Public last week Thursday, April 22. One of the highlights of the meet, held under cool and breezy conditions, was the 400-meter relay team of Evan Scharberg, Collin Helma, Tate Sorensen and Justin Wollman, which broke the meet record with a 45.76 clocking. The Freeman girls were led by Oddy Pankratz, Rijjy Peterson, Maddie Kribell and Mesa Mehlhaf, who each finished second in the high jump, triple jump, shot put and discus.
