Madeline Hofer, shown here with Gov. Kristi Noem late last month after being recognized as the top 1% academically among all graduating seniors in South Dakota, is the subject if this week’s 5-Minute Interview. Hofer will graduate as valedictorian from Freeman High School this coming Saturday afternoon in a ceremony that begins at 2 p.m. Menno High School is also holding baccalaureate/graduation on Saturday beginning at 2 p.m.
