PHOTO OF THE DAY: BACK ON TRACK

Track and field athletes like Freeman’s Ava Ammann are back at it today for one more meet before state — the Region 5B competition being hosted by Menno today, Thursday, May 20. Freeman Public, Freeman Academy/Marion and Menno are all taking part in the event; field events began at 10 a.m. and running events were set to start at 12 p.m. This will be the last opportunity for student-athletes to crack the top-24 in their respective events, therefore qualifying for the State B Track Meet in Rapid City next weekend.
