The Freeman Academy/Marion boys and their coaches are pictured with the hardware earned at the 2021 State B Track Meet in Rapid City — including the sixth-place team plaque. The Bearcats benefited from a Bison disqualification in the sprint medley relay to land a team place in the final standings. They won that relay, the 4×800 and earned points from Titus Roesler and Thalen Schroeder in open events to finish with 39 points. Hanson won the Class B title, edging Viborg-Hurley 79 to 78 after winning the final event of the day.
