Madison Hofer, who last month graduated from Freeman High School, is the community’s lone representative at the Class B State Golf Tournament at Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings being held early this week. Hofer shot a 106 the first day of competition on Monday, June 7, with a 53 on both the front and back nine; that had her tied for 66th in the field of 99. Action concludes today.
