PHOTO OF THE DAY: REFLECTION OF RELIEF

Standing water on Freeman’s Main Street could be seen Tuesday morning following the storm that rolled across the area Monday night, bringing with it much-needed moisture. Rainfall amounts varied, but the Freeman community saw more than an inch of rain, with some rural areas receiving more and others getting less. The weather brought with it some relief and cautious optimism in what has been an otherwise dry spring and summer.
