PHOTO OF THE DAY: TALKING ABOUT PRACTICE

The Canistota/Freeman Sticks 14u baseball team is shown practicing at Merchants State Bank Field Monday evening, July 19 in preparation for the 2021 VFW State Tournament which will be held in Freeman this weekend. Four games will be played Friday and Saturday beginning at noon, with three games on Sunday at noon, 2:30 and 5 p.m. The Sticks are hosting the eight-team tournament after putting in a bid late last year. All games will be played at Merchants State Bank Field, with volunteers affiliated with the Sticks organization running the tournament.
