Kahli Gall sings the national anthem at the start of the 2021 South Dakota Chislic Festival being held Saturday at the Freeman Prairie Arboretum. Men, women and children of all ages began trickling in after 10 a.m. with a steady crowd expected throughout the day. While chislic is the star of the show, other food and beverages — along with music and a host of other activities — are helping create a fun and festive atmosphere. The festival runs until 9 p.m.
