Some of those behind the Freeman Regional Health Services Foundation Golf Tournament get organized inside the clubhouse at Valley View Golf Course Friday morning, Sept. 10 in anticipation of the 12 p.m. shotgun start. Fourteen teams are participating in what is the 11th fundraiser for the foundation; the tournament was not held in 2020 because of COVID-19. In addition to the action on Freeman’s nine-hole course, a raffle includes a host of items donated from local and area businesses and organizations. 

This is one of two tournament fundraisers at Valley View Golf Course in the span of 24 hours. The Freeman Volunteer Fire Department is holding its annual event tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 11.
