Notice of service: Gene Kaufman

A celebration of life will be held for Gene Kaufman, who passed away on Dec. 12, 2020, on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. at the Salem Mennonite Church of rural Freeman, S.D. The family invites you to an informal time of listening to music and sharing memories about Gene’s life. The gathering will include a time for sharing, during which the family would love to hear your memories and stories about Dad.  

Gene’s family respectfully requests that those who are not vaccinated for COVID either wear a mask inside the church or attend via Zoom (https://zoom.us/j/278905019).  Memorial gifts will be designated for Mennonite Central Committee and the Freeman Academy Music Department.
