This wall just outside the Sterling Hall gymnasium reflects the success that the Freeman Academy and Freeman Academy/Marion have had in both track and cross county in recent years. In addition to this hardware, the school’s trophy case includes a number of state cross-country runner-up trophies the FA/Marion boys have earned the past decade — including just last year. The Bearcats will be represented once again at another State Cross-Country Meet in Sioux Falls Saturday afternoon, as will two from Freeman Public and two from Marion.
