PHOTO OF THE DAY: MOON SHOT

The moon is pictured in the west on a crisp, cool, colorful and sunny Saturday morning, Oct. 23. Those are the conditions that will greet cross-country runners from around the state as they take to Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls this afternoon. The Freeman Academy/Marion boys are looking for another strong team finish and Freeman Academy junior has her eyes on a state championship in the girls Class B division. Watch Twitter @freemancourier for results, and check back here later this afternoon. The girls run at noon and the Class B boys will start at 1:30 p.m.
