PHOTO OF THE DAY: FROST MORNING

The beauty found across the landscape Thursday morning was certainly different from the conditions of late Wednesday night, when the wind finally came up and rain and ice pelleted to ground. There was lots of lighting, too, although the Freeman area did not receive the severe storms that found their way south and east of Sioux Falls. Still, the icy conditions forced Freeman Academy, Freeman Public and Menno to start two hours late.
