It might not look like much now, but this photo represents significant growth seen in the city of Freeman the past year. It is the drive that will lead into the Westward View Housing Development and the 18 lots available for the construction of new homes, located to the west of the city’s water tower. The project comes out of a joint effort between the Freeman Growth Foundation, Freeman Community Development Corporation and city of Freeman that is among the Top 10 Stories of the Year in Freeman that will be included in the Dec. 30 issue of The Courier. Menno’s Top 10 will be counted down in the Jan. 6, 2021 edition.
