PEP RALLY, COMMUNITY SEND-OFF PLANNED

Two community events are scheduled in anticipation of Freeman Academy/Marion’s trip to the State B Boys Basketball Tournament next week.

A community pep rally will take place Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Sterling Hall on the campus of Freeman Academy.

A send-off will take place Wednesday morning. The public is invited to gather at the Pioneer Hall parking lot at 8:45 a.m.; the team bus will leave at 9 a.m. and will be escorted out of town on Main Street by the Freeman Volunteer Fire Department. The bus will then stop at the Marion school to pick up athletes there, and will be escorted out of town by the Marion Volunteer Fire Department on the way to Aberdeen.
