The Bearcats’ effort in the race gives them the fastest time in the state as they leapfrogged Wessington Springs’ time of 9:01.80. The FAM medley relay team of Liam Ortman, Seth Balzer, Blue and Thalen Schroeder also won at the Flyer Invitational on Thursday, helping the Bearcats finish fourth in 18-team meet.
