Dusk turns to dark in Burke on Friday night as the 2022 South Dakota prep football season opened across the state. Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy paid a visit to the Cougars in what was the first game in program history, and the Phoenix came away with a 34-12 win on the shoulders of a 26-0 run in the second half.
