NEW: 16U TRAPPERS DROP PITCHER’S DUAL 2-0

Two Tyndall runs in the third inning made the difference in Tuesday evening’s Region 4B battle against Scotland/Menno as the Bon Homme-county squad came away with a 2-0 win over the Trappers.

Scotland/Menno will play in an elimination game Wednesday at 5 p.m. against the winner of Tuesday’s second game between Parker and Salem.

Tyndall, meanwhile, will face Freeman/Marion in the winner’s bracket Wednesday at 3 p.m., with the winner advancing to the championship round on Thursday.

All games are being played in Freeman.

For the Trappers against Tyndall, Parker Hochstein accounted for both of the team’s hits while Trent Guthmiller pitched a 92-pitch complete game, giving up just five hits and striking out six.
