AUG. 31: WOLVES DOWN ‘CATS 3-0

Menno inched closer to to .500 with a 3-0 win over Freeman Academy/Marion Thursday night, Aug. 31 in Marion. Set scores were 25-15, 25-23, 25-15. The win moves the Wolves to 2-3 while the Bearcats fall to 0-5.

Ashton Massey had 9 kills, Ellyana Ulmer had 14 digs, Taylor Freier had 4 aces and Joslynn Fischer had 20 set assists to lead Menno while Emma McConniel led the Bearcats with 4 kills and 13 digs; Isabelle McConniel had 8 set assists.

Action continues for both teams on Tuesday when Menno travels to Bridgewater/Emery and Freeman Academy/Marion travels to Andes Central/Dakota Christian.

Maggie Miller: 7 digs, 1 ace
