GOOSSEN RESIGNS AS FREEMAN PUBLIC BUSINESS MANAGER

The Freeman Public School Board will meet in special session Wednesday night, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. to accept the resignation of business manager Debbie Gossen, according to the agenda posted on the school’s website. Goossen turned in her resignation Monday night and told the Courier her last day will be Monday, Oct. 2; she did not elaborate on her decision but said her resignation is for personal reasons.

Goossen came on as interim business manager in January of 2018 following the sudden resignation of Ronda Rinehart, and she was hired as the permanent replacement in March of that year.
