FLYERS SNAP 7-LOSS SKID

The volleyball team from Freeman Public won for the first time since since Sept. 23 by coming from behind to edge Viborg-Hurley 3-2 in Cornbelt Conference action in Freeman Monday night, Oct. 16. Set scores were in favor of the Flyers 13-25, 26-24, 27-29, 25-20, 15-13. Freeman improved to 12-13 while Viborg-Hurley fell to 7-16.

The Flyers host Hanson Tuesday night in another Cornbelt showdown.
