This was taken looking through a doorway from the old gymnasium, which is part of a piecemeal series of additions that started with the original construction in 1914. The school district is proposing a major, three-phase renovation that will significantly upgrade the campus; as part of that the board will be asking voters to approve a roughly $6 million bond to help cover the cost of Phase 1 and Phase 2. A date for that bond election will be set after official action; the next board meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 13.
