PHOTO OF THE DAY: VOICES TOGETHER

The Freeman Area Children’s Choir stands assembled on the platform at the Salem-Zion Mennonite Church Sunday night, Nov. 12, as director Amber Bradley and assistant director Iwona Lewter share words of welcome. The fall concert was received by an audience that filled the church sanctuary and included eight selections performed by the FACC, as well as special instrumental music offered by five choir members.

The FACC, which was established in 1992 under the leadership of Mavis Ortman, is in its second season under the direction of Bradley and Lewter, who took it over after a brief hiatus following the 2019 season.
