PHOTO OF THE DAY: THAT TIME OF YEAR

This photo from a year ago shows Santa and Mrs. Claus making their arrival at the Freeman Community Center for the Hometown Christmas/Mistletoe Market holiday event. The jolly couple is expected to make another trip to Freeman from the North Pole this Thursday, Nov. 30 as the seasonal activity returns. The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. and will include activities for the family and more than two dozen vendors selling a variety of products. It is being organized and sponsored by the Freeman Community Development Corporation and will also include a meal that is a fundraiser for Growing Dreams Learning Center. In addition, Little Blessings Day Care will be providing holiday treats for freewill donations.
