FAM BOYS FALL TO 1-3 WITH LOSS TO TDA

The Freeman Academy/Marion boys dropped to 1-3 with a loss to Tripp-Delmont/Armour in Marion Tuesday night, Dec. 19. The Nighthawks (2-2) separated themselves from the Bearcats by winning the second and third periods 28-11 en route to a 65-52 win.

Karter Weber and Elshadi Mesfin were in double-figures for FAM with 15 and 12 points, respectively. Weber and Taylor Goodwin each had four assists and Liam Ortman had three steals for the Bearcats, who were 8-for-17 from two-point range and 11-for 45 from three-point range.

Ethan improved to 4-0 while the FA/Marion boys dropped to 1-2 as the Bearcats hosted the Rustlers at Sterling Hall Saturday, Dec. 16. Ethan led 17-6 after the first period and 31-17, but FAM trailed just 42-36 after the third period.

Karter Weber had 20 points and four steals while Jackson Donlan contributed 14 points, four rebounds and three steals. The Bearcats were 9-of-24 from two-point range and 7-for-36 from three-point range.
