PHOTO OF THE DAY: ANOTHER CLEAN-UP SHOT

Here’s another photo taken early this week following the heavy snow that fell in the early-morning hours of Monday, Jan. 8. It shows Kelly Mutchelknaus clearing snow outside Pine Tree Apartments in Freeman and helps set the tone for a week of winter weather. The foot-plus that fell on Monday and into Tuesday was countered on Wednesday with another few inches, and more snow is expected Thursday, Friday and Saturday, when temperatures will drop to below zero — for highs.
