RAIDERS DOWN WOLVES IN JAN. 23 DOUBLEHEADER

Boys and girls basketball teams from Menno traveled to Gayville-Volin Tuesday night, Jan. 23 for a doubleheader with the Raiders, with the home team topping the visitors in both varsity games. The Gayville-Volin boys won 62-41 to improve to 6-4 while the Wolves dropped to 0-10. In the girls game, the Raiders won 58-43 to move to 7-3 on the season while the Wolves fell to 1-9.

Stats were not reported for the girls.

For the boys, Izayah Ulmer led the way with 16 points, four steals and three assists while Isaac Fergen netted 12 points. Erick Buechler grabbed 14 rebounds.

The Wolves host Corsica-Stickney in a doubleheader Friday night.
