GIRLS REGION 4B BRACKET RELEASED

Freeman Academy/Marion is the No. 9 seed and will visit No. 8 Scotland when the Region 4B Girls Basketball Tournament gets underway Monday night, Feb. 19. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Then on Tuesday, Freeman Public will host two games: the No. 2 Flyers will face No. 7 Menno at 6 p.m. followed by No. 3 Gayville-Volin facing No. 6 Alcester-Hudson.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 1 Centerville will host the winner of the Scotland, Freeman Academy/Marion game at 6 p.m. followed by No. 4 Viborg-Hurley facing No. 5 Irene-Wakonda.

The winners of Tuesday’s games will play Thursday for a spot in the SoDak 16; the highest remaining seed will host those games.
