PHOTO OF THE DAY: THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS

For those familiar with what it takes to prepare a Schmeckfest musical, this is a familiar scene. It shows the Pioneer Hall auditorium in the middle of its transition to a theater during a rehearsal for “Shrek the Musical” last week. The fairy tale featuring an array of characters will be presented as part of the 63rd annual Schmeckfest next week Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16. The show will also be presented Thursday, March 14. Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. all three nights. Watch this week’s Courier for a preview of the show.
