PHOTO OF THE DAY: IT JUST LOOKS COLD
A Freeman school bus trimmed in snow is reflected in one of the mirrors Tuesday morning. It’s another rough day of weather for the area as high winds and cold temperatures make for difficult travel conditions one day following the March 25 spring winter storm that brought ice and several inches of snow to area. Local schools canceled classes on Monday and again on Tuesday as blowing and drifting snow has caused problems in rural areas.
While it’s been a rough stretch of weather, temperatures will slowly begin climbing beginning Wednesday, although another round of snow is in the forecast for Sunday.
And to think — it was 70 degrees just two weeks ago.
