PHOTO OF THE DAY: SUNDAY SONGS

A praise and worship team made up of mostly graduating seniors from Freeman Academy and Freeman Public offer music as part of the 2024 Freeman Community Baccalaureate service held at the Freeman Community Center Sunday afternoon, May 5. The 4 p.m. worship service included song, scripture and an address from Stuart Curry of the Salem MB Church, all of which was followed by a taco luncheon. Other pastors active with the Freeman Ministerial Association taking part included Corey Miller (Salem-Zion Mennonite), Shane VanMeveren (Bethany), Tom Brown (Bethlehem Reformed OPC), Randall Koehler (Hutterthal Mennonite), Spencer Bradford (Salem Mennonite) and Stephen Roussos (Freeman Missionary).

The praise and worship team was made up of Jayson Allison, Ava Andersen, Sam Clark, Stefany Cortes, Cami Fransen, Rylie Gossen, Riley Knittel, Liam Ortman, Kaitlin Pankratz, Sam Waltner and Craig and Lois Wollman.

Graduation at Freeman Public is Saturday, May 11 starting a 2 p.m.

Graduation at Freeman Academy is Saturday, May 18 starting at 1 p.m.

The Menno Ministerial Association will host its baccalaureate at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, May 11, with commencement to follow at 2:30 p.m. Both will be held in the main gymnasium.
