CLASS OF 2024 SAYS GOODBYE THIS WEEKEND, NEXT

FHS, Menno graduations Saturday, May 11; FA, Marion Saturday, May 18

Graduation will be on the minds of local students, their families and their respective communities this weekend and next as seniors reach a memorable milestone in their lives.

Both Freeman Public and Menno will hold commencement exercises Saturday, May 11 with Freeman’s ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. and Menno’s starting at 2:30 p.m. inside their respective high school gyms; the Menno Ministerial Association will host baccalaureate preceding graduation beginning at 1:45 p.m., also in the main gym.

Freeman Academy and Marion, meanwhile, will hold their graduations on Saturday, May 18. FA’s commencement will take place inside Pioneer Hall with Marion’s taking place inside the high school gym; both will start at 1 p.m.

The last day of school for Freeman Public and Menno will be Wednesday, May 15, with Freeman dismissing at noon and Menno at 1 p.m.

The last day of school at Marion will be Friday, May 17 with a 1:30 p.m. dismissal, while FA will end the school year Wednesday, May 22.

A salute to Marion’s Class of 2024 will be published next week.
