PHOENIX, TRAPPERS FACING OFF IN SOFTBALL SODAK 16

Softball teams from Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy and Scotland/Menno will face off in the SoDak 16 this coming Tuesday, May 21 in Scotland, with first pitch set for 5:30 p.m. The Phoenix are the No. 11 seed (7-8) while the Trappers are No. 6 (11-4).

If rain impacts the game, it will be moved to Wednesday, May 22.

The winner moves on to the eight-team state tournament in Aberdeen May 30-June 1.
