The Freeman High School boys golf team of Alaric Knittel, Tannen Auch, Oliver Waltner and Thor Aanensen stand for a photo before leaving for Brookings and the 2024 State Golf Tournament Sunday morning. The team qualified at the Region 3B Tournament last month, where the Flyers finished second by a single stroke, and are among 133 boys competing in the Class B division being played Monday and Tuesday at the Brookings Country Club.

The Class B girls are at Hillcrest Golf Course, also in Brookings, and includes Freeman Academy’s Jada Buse, who finished second in Region 3B action.

Scotland/Menno is being represented by Kailyn Odens and Evie Foss, who both qualified at the Region 4B meet on May 22 with sixth and seventh place finishes, respectively.
