The Scotland/Menno 16-and-under baseball squad will be one of the eight teams taking part in the South Dakota VFW 16B State Tournament in Platte next weekend. The Trappers advanced with a 3-0 win over Baltic in the Region 3 final and will play Platte/Geddes at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9. Canistota/Freeman, meanwhile, will take the field at 11 a.m. that day against Alexandria.
