The front side of Pioneer Hall on the campus of Freeman Academy is pictured on a sunny and pleasant Sunday morning. Note the white marker that was included with the construction in 1949-50, marking the 75th anniversary of the settling of the larger community.
The FA campus will be busy later today as the school observes its traditional opening convocation. A picnic will be served from The Link starting at 6 p.m., with the program on the lawn just outside beginning at 7 p.m.
