PHOTO OF THE DAY: MAIN ATTRACTION

Main Street at Pioneer Acres was the place to be over the noon hour on Saturday as the parade featuring antique tractors, cars and machines of all shapes and sizes passed by the large crowd. It was part of the 38th annual Pioneer Power Show hosted by the larger Menno community beginning Saturday morning, Sept. 21 and continuing through Sunday. In addition to the parade, the celebration that “teaches the present about the past” is once again including demonstrations of power using steam, plenty of activities for children, food and other vendors, live music and a toy show dotting the grounds on the north side of Menno.

Watch for full coverage in the upcoming issue of The Courier.
