PHOTO OF THE DAY: COLORS OF OCTOBER
As these trees along Freeman’s West County Road show, the colors are beginning to change marking a switch in season that can also be felt in the air. Tuesday morning’s temperatures were much cooler than has been the case in months — highs were in the 40s — and weren’t expected to get out of the 60s all day. But a return to the 80s is in the cards yet this week, and highs are expected to be above normal through the first part of October.
