PHOTO OF THE DAY: OFF THEY GO!

Freeman senior Sawyer Wipf is greeted by a young fan as he and the rest of the Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy football team makes its way the charter bus headed for Hill City. The Phoenix left to the fanfare of the student body and pulled out of the Freeman High School parking lot just after 8:30 a.m. The day’s itinerary includes a stop in Chamberlain at 11 a.m. for a walk-through/stretch on the football field there, another stop at the rest stop at Wasta, with arrival at Hill City scheduled for 5 p.m. CT, 4 p.m. MT. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. CT, 6 p.m. MT.
