You’d never know it was a cold Monday morning by the smile on Denise Handel’s face as she clears snow from the sidewalk outside her place of employment, First Interstate Bank, on Dec. 2. Handel and the larger Freeman region was left to deal with the annoyance of a light snow that fell over the weekend, turning the landscape white just in time for the final month of the year. While no additional moisture is in the forecast in the upcoming days, the temperatures are expected to be all over the place, from milder on Wednesday to frigid the following day.
