Maria Paff, on behalf of the Freeman Network for Justice and Peace (FNJP), drops off items for The Courier’s Toy Box Toy Drive that has been underway since early November. The FNJP committed $500 toward the drive, which will see dozens of items — from toys to games to clothes — distributed to families who utilize the Bethany Food Pantry on Dec. 6 and Dec. 13. The Courier has organized the toy drive every year since 2017 and the deadline to give to this year’s effort is Wednesday, Dec. 4.
