These returning letter-winners from Freeman High School are among those who are back for another season on the court. They are, back from left: Cadence Hofer, Lindsey Maske and Rylee Peters; front from left: Justice Mehlhaf, Vaida Ammann and Peyton McCune. The Flyers won their opener at home Tuesday night, Dec. 10 after taking down Platte-Geddes 54-12 and will play again Friday in a home doubleheader with the boys against Viborg-Hurley.

Scotland/Menno opened its girls season with a 44-36 win over Bridgewater-Emery and will play again tonight (Thursday) against Tripp-Delmont/Armour.

The Freeman Academy/Marion girls are 2-1 and will face Bridgewater-Emery in Emery Saturday.
