FHS BOYS OUTLAST BRIDGEWATER-EMERY IN OT

Freshman David Walter had 28 points and was 6-for-6 from the free-throw line down to stretch to help seal a 65-62 overtime win over Bridgewater-Emery in Freeman Thursday night, Jan. 9. It was the second tight win for the Flyers in two nights; Freeman also edged Irene-Wakonda 66-63 Tuesday night.

Thursday’s win over the Huskies improved Freeman to 5-2 while Bridgewater-Emery dropped to 4-2.
