PHOTO OF THE DAY: CLEAR AND COLD
As expected, Monday morning dawned cold, with temperatures below zero as indicated by the clock at CorTrust Bank in Freeman. Highs are not expected to reach above zero until tomorrow, prompting Menno — which had school scheduled despite the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday — to call off classes and all activities for the day. That includes Monday night’s scheduled game against Bridgewater-Emery at Scotland, which has been moved to Monday, Feb. 3.
