FHS GIRLS MOVE TO 11-3; FAM BOYS DROP TO 4-7

The Freeman High School girls scored a big win over Canistota in hoops action Thursday night, winning 60-28. The Flyers improved to 11-3 while the Hawks dropped to 4-9.

Freeman will next travel to Avon (7-5) on Monday.

Also Thursday night, the Freeman Academy/Marion boys lost to Irene-Wakonda in a game played at Freeman Academy. The Eagles improved to 6-6 while the Bearcats dropped to 4-7.

Next up for FAM is a game at No. 1 Viborg-Hurley Friday, Feb. 7.
