PHOTO OF THE DAY: WINTER IN BLACK & WHITE

The beauty of winter was on full display Tuesday morning following an all-day snow event the day before, as several inches fell across the region. That prompted schools to dismiss classes early on Monday and start late on Tuesday. And it’s cold. Temperatures were below zero at daybreak with wind chills in much colder further north. And another round of snow is expected Wednesday morning that could linger into the afternoon hours.
