GAMES, COUNCIL MEETING POSTPONED; OTHER UPDATES
Because of forecast incoming weather, the Freeman City Council meeting scheduled for tonight has been moved to Thursday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m.
There are other weather-related updates:
- Tonight’s Region 4B boys basketball game between Freeman Public and Gayville-Volin has been moved to Friday at 7 p.m. in Freeman. The winner will play Saturday at 2 p.m. against the winner of the Parkston vs. Alcester-Hudson game.
- Freeman Public is dismissing school at 12:45 p.m.
- Scotland/Menno’s Region 5A game against Mount Vernon/Plankinton, scheduled for tonight in Plankinton, has been moved to Friday at 7 p.m. The winner will play at Hanson Saturday at 3 p.m.
- Menno is also dismissing school at 11:30 a.m.
- The Marion School District is also closing at 12:45 p.m.
- And Heritage Hall Museum & Archives in Freeman has announced that it is closed for the day.
