PHOTO OF THE DAY: TACO TIME!

Armando Cortez is enjoying the beautiful Friday morning and one of his passions — cooking — at his home at 300 S. Dewald in Freeman. Cortez is serving up beef, pork and chicken tacos and other sweet treats in conjunction with his rummage sale — one of many being held June 13 and 14 across the Freeman community. Cortez, who operates Armando’s Tacos, is also a vendor at the Freeman Farmers Market held every Wednesday at the Swimming Pool Park from 5 to 7 p.m.
